We often associate breakups — complete with tears, harsh words, volatile emotions and declarations of exodus — with our significant others, and rightfully so; however, our significant others clearly aren’t the only people we share our lives with.
Friends often fill a void that few others can and when the relationship is in dire straits, the break can be just as poignant and equally as painful.
