I’ve received the best news ever in life: Microsoft is offering a free beta version of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010!
The beta will expire in October 2010, but that’s almost a year of free Microsoft Office. Trust me, I totally needed this beta.
Apparently, computers are no longer installed with a full version of Microsoft Office. People obviously have no use for Office products after 60 days.
Open Office has worked well for the interim (and it’s ALWAYS free!), but it can become burdensome to navigate when most use Microsoft Word as their primary document creator.
As a beta user, you’ll undoubtedly have to endure bug fixes and minor programming issues, but that’s a small price to pay for a year of free Office use.
Kudos, Microsoft. I can now take you off of my short list. Many, many thanks.
